Just seeking clarification on exactly where the tip of the fuel pickup tube should be when tightening. Is it perpendicular? Or is it slightly off center/centre towards front of engine or rear of...

Pedal Positioning & Band Adjusting

Whilst I had the engine out replacing the brass bolts in the magneto, I also decided to change over the hogshead on my T to allow for a starter motor to be fitted. That all went well. I am now at the...

Brake screech when reversing

Some months ago I installed the Flathead Ted floater kit on my 1928 Phaeton. Just after this I left on holidays and it is just recently that I have gone back to working with my cars.

When I...

Ball Cap query.

Just a query - when fitting the ball cap (T-3369) there is a single hole in the shaft. Where does that align? Hole at the top? At the bottom etc? I just didn't notice when I took it apart.

Notch for Starter Motor

I recall seeing a post somewhere about putting a notch in the Magnetor Backing Plate to enable a starter motor to be fitted. Like the one on the left of the photo at about 9 o'clock. Has anyone done...

Re: Tight Fit in My 1929 Roadster

I had the same issue with my 1928 Phaeton. When it came time to re-upholster the front seat, I tied some wire between the springs - in effect part compressing them where I sat in the drivers...
