I put my shift tower on wrong the first time I had one apart. If I recall, All my forward gears were temporarily...reverse. I won't make that mistake again.

My experience with the A' :I had a small block Chevy in my first A. Crazy roof, hydraulic brakes. It was fun for sure, but It never satisfied the itch. Making a 90 year old car go fast rarely works...

Many things could be the cause I would bet kingpin bushings.
But Could be loose lugs, loose drums, misaligned wheels, Loose Spring.

With the idle adjustment screw backed as far as it will go, my engine is still idling a tad high. I recently retimed and re adjusted points but no change. The car runs fine and doesn't seem short on...
