The washers I have are completely flat and also seem too thick. Copper washers used for brakes are usually thinner. I'll try another set of washers and see if that helps.

I found out that the hole had a plug installed at the factory. I dont have to remove the trans anymore because I found the leak was coming from that hole. thank you everyone who tried to help. I need...

There is a hole at the back of the three speed transmission on the left side that is not threaded. I am leaking fluid from that hole. Also when i go thru the gears I see a rod moving back and forth...

Sorry I miss understood what you meant. Its in and working for now so I'm happy to be back on the road. Next project is a leaking transmission.
