Have a question. If gaskets are installed properly why would aluminum be tough to get off?

Hi Jerry, they are center. Think/guess 1948, 239. Determined by pencil test.

Today when leaving the house (after 5 min idle warm up) it felt like the emergency brake was on. I pushed clutch in and checked and the brake was off. I then left for store. All good...

Hi Gents

My 39 has a later 239 and dual exhaust. I知 thinking about buying reds headers. I have couple questions.

First I should say I have a friend with a lift, so car will be up.

How tough...

Ok thx. I’m in no rush. I don’t know how to weld. I’ve been pb blasting, torch and vise grips. Just don’t want to round it anymore than it is. I’ll try again tomorrow and if no luck I’ll order ABN.

I have 180 stats. I recently opened the heater valve, on hose. Now that side of the engine seems run colder. Left side 170-180 and right side 160 or lil...
