This pan was bent up, ripped, and further messed up by a previous "metal-man". Guess we "tuned" it up enough to do the job; but in the wrong place. Anyway the grille fit with no gaps.

Thanks for the correction.

Guess I should have researched putting these mangled pieces together.

Not like this; the pan actually goes under the fenders; see DavidG's post with the correct info.
