hey Mark,good place to point thermal gun right where water temp gauge sender in cyl head. got my temp gun from harbor frt. cheap works well,and says exact temp as red liquid in gauge. Tom.

thanks very tangled,kube did just answer that felt dipstick query i had over on early ford v8 club site where i started discussion. he said close to3/16" and were dense wool. he had used the last one...

Thanks to all,I got the new switch for my primer only fuel pump replaced.while under dash saw that the wire from pump has a modern 2 prong 15 amp fuse i went with a 15 amp rated toggle. Tom.

Me too on the cup cake liners in tail lights in my '37. fit perfect in tail light bucket.concentrates and facites the light. Tom.
