The sheet metal that goes above and below the rad is all different. The 6 cly. rad mounts way ahead of where the v8 rad sits.

Had the same problem with I liner I installed years ago. The rad shop at the time only seen it a couple of times. It was due to ethanol. The newer sealers are ok

The line inside the tank that runs down the side and along the bottom of the tank could be rusted out (usually along the bend going up the side)

There is a metal channel in the rear of the front door that looks like it is welded in. 11A 7021572-A right side. It is broken and partly missing. This is the part where the channel you buy snaps in....

i have a 1956 Ford with a stock rear end that is shot. I have a good 1957 Ford rear end. Will it bolt in the 56. Also will the 56 backing plates and drums fit the 57 Ford rear end as they are new....

But can you see the line from the fuel sender hole or is it just on the left side. I have an old tank that I can see the line through the hole but my good tank I can see no line. Thanks
