Steve

Re: Need advice on replacement hubs and drums

I received a call back from MT this morning and the answer directly from the horses mouth is Speedway sells MT backing plates but not their hubs and drums.
I'm not making any judgement on...

Need advice on replacement hubs and drums

Does anyone have first hand experience with the bendix style front brakes from Speedway for a '40 Ford? I see they're a dealer for MT Products but their lower prices make me wonder if they might be...

Re: Are all cars female

Re: What are the consequences of overtorquing?

There has been some good info offered by guys who seem to have a good understanding of these particular engines. I would just clarify my original post by saying that all fasteners stretch when...

Re: What are the consequences of overtorquing?

Bolts typically have torque values of 60 to 80 percent of their yield values. With that in mind and assuming your bolts were in good condition and your torque wrench was calibrated, I wouldn't worry...

Re: Adapting '39Ford transmission to '53 Flathead

I have the bell housing and new water pumps if you're still in need. I was going to do the same thing and ended up going a different direction.
Give me a call if interested.
