If you have replaced your wheel cylinders, check the bleeder screw threads carefully. Mine are metric. :-(

Maybe it's the camera, but that whole brake assembly looks rotated to the rear too much. The wheel cylinder should be parallel to the top of the grease shield, too.

'51 was the first full year for column-shifted F-1's. I believe some late '50's were equipped with them, too. All '48-'52 trucks were open drive.

Do you mean the ammeter? It has no effect on that, only oil pressure, gas, and temp gauges.

The oil pickup dome takes up almost all the room above the plate. I don't know how you could really measure anything with confidence.

Each gauge and sender draws about 600 mA, at least on my '52 truck. So peak max draw of 3.6 amps.

I had a PCV setup using that vac connection, and opened the two drillings up to 1/8" or 3/16" for better flow. They are really small from the factory.

Depends. I get my washers at NAPA and they are hard as rock. Not sure if they are Dorman or what.

Got to watch out too, our chinese brothers are putting out copper-coated washers, not clear...

Almost certainly a stuck valve when you see -0- compression. If you pull the intake manifold, should be able to work on the valve and free it up.

If you mean, does the supply from cylinder head go on the upper connection, return on lower; that is opposite of usual. Having the supply come in the lower part of the core will push air out the top...

Best way to prevent that kind of damage is to drive it long and often! Get everything nice and hot. Short trips don't work.
