Re: Grease Fittings
Getting the old ones out is pretty much like pulling teeth. Grab them with a pair of vice grips and rock them back & forth while pulling.

Re: Grab handle
I might have to eventually do something like Y-B shows above to aid in getting in and out of the vehicle (CCPU is probably the most difficult). I did get the door to open wider and that helps. As far...

Re: Thermostat update.
You don't have to tip the radiator to get a hose on. Just remove the top of the T-stat housing (4 bolts). Easy-Peasy.

Re: Fog Light Switch Help
Check out my pictures in post #3. I converted the Unity Fog Lights from Sealed Beam to LED, thus eliminating the huge current draw. I also intend on using them for driving lights. My turn signals are...

Re: Headlight Help

Re: Fog Light Switch Help
Here's a copy of the instruction sheet from Unity:
When wired up like the instructions show, the tail lights will come on anytime you have the fog lights turned on.

Re: Sound deadening Q ?
I have used Dynamat, but more recently I have been using RoadKill. I have to order Dynamat and pay freight to get it here. RoadKill I can get locally. It is actually a little easier to work with and...

Re: Engine heat in cold weather
I don't turn the fan on until I've driven a mile or so. It's usually warm by then. Really doesn't affect the engine temp. 160 t-stat, will get there and stays between 160-170.

Re: How Many 2020 Miles Did You Drive
Typically I drive between 3,000 and 4,000 miles in a year. This year was a little different.
1) I had knee surgery in January
2) Covid hit just as I was recovered from the surgery -- all club...

Re: Taillight grounding
If it's in doubt as to whether or not I get a good ground, I typically will run a separate ground wire whether it needs it or not.
