Re: Fog Light Switch Help
What I have is are the Unity Fog Lights. They take the same bulb that the '70s 4-light headlight system used, which is 5.75" (GE part # 24460 / 4412A). They are often referred to as 5" lights, even...

Re: Fog Light Switch Help
I had a couple of thoughts there: 1) I wanted to approximate the same look as the headlights and cowl lights, hence the clear lenses. By using amber LEDs they turn color when on, as do the turn...

Re: ARP head studs
When I bought ARP studs, I had to buy individual studs. No one I talked to there even knew what a Model A Ford was.

Re: Directionals
When I tried that one, it worked perfectly -- until I started the engine. It would not work at all with the engine running, Worked OK with the engine off.

Re: Need Info on Rear Bumper Flag Mount
Call Wagner Products in St Louis (314) 966-4444. They make a flag holder for the Model A that will hold anything you want on it, multiple flags as well.
This is my pickup in an impromptu July 4th...

Re: Directionals
My set up: Signal Stat 900, 12-Volt Neg ground, all LED fixtures.
After trying all the usual flashers, including "electronic" ones, none worked satisfactorily due to all the reasons already...

Re: Fs ignitions
My FSI Zipper failed after 5K miles. Even though FSI replaced it, and I have a spare module, I'm not so inclined to put it back in. I have a borrowed stock dizzy in now and it has worked perfectly...

Re: Grab handle
[QUOTE=Y-Blockhead;1975181]The one issue keeping me from fabing one is I don't want to drill mounting holes in my dash rail.
Isn't the one pictured just picking up existing mounting screws?

Re: Grease Fittings
Getting the old ones out is pretty much like pulling teeth. Grab them with a pair of vice grips and rock them back & forth while pulling.

Re: Grab handle
I might have to eventually do something like Y-B shows above to aid in getting in and out of the vehicle (CCPU is probably the most difficult). I did get the door to open wider and that helps. As far...

Re: Thermostat update.
You don't have to tip the radiator to get a hose on. Just remove the top of the T-stat housing (4 bolts). Easy-Peasy.

Re: Fog Light Switch Help

Re: Headlight Help
I have tried them all. Came to me with 6-v 32cp bulbs. Changed to 12-v 50cp, then to Halogens. A couple years ago (before the LogoLite LEDs came out) I installed JDM Astar LEDs that plugged directly...
