I have started work on stamping out the rear inner fender well for 30-31 Tudor because I need 3 sets and the repro ones are not very good quality. I think my problem will be cost of making the dies...

George If I had the OHV Chevy head I think I could have took him for a block or so with all his wires on yet....

As Bill Williamson mentioned in DJS post the Model A is not a great design for high RPM but they can do pretty good if everything is right with them.

I read your post a little closer I see you had the engine apart do you have split valve guides or the one piece guides, just thinking if there the split ones you could have a valve sticking the split...

Do you know about what RPM your in? I do Mfg a better distributor cam for the Model A-B It will give you more dwell time about 9 more degrees, that is if it is an ignition problem.

Marshall, are the rear fenders different on a steel back Vicky than a standard Tudor? I did not get fenders with mine and the wheel well looks deeper when I looked at it the other day?
