Re: 54 ford rear yoke

If there is a shop near you that makes up driveshafts, he may be of some help.. That yoke was last used in a Ford in 56, so finding a new one is almost impossible. Used one is probably your only...

Re: Adjusting the Doors on a 56 T=Bird????

The fit of the doors on early Birds has always been a problem especially at the bottom ( it stuck out.). Probably why the manuals showed a fix.

Re: Throttle return spring and baling wire

I'm aware of what the last line says, but I still stand by my statement. There is the rest of the car for remembering a respected relative.

Re: '52/'53 Rear Bumper Wing Guards

It looks like you only got one part of the assembly. There are pieces that go over the present bumper guards which I don't see in your picture.

Never thought these made the car look any...

Re: Throttle return spring and baling wire

I don't want to be the spoil sport here, but if it was my car I would try to come up with something better looking

Re: 1955 ford ranch wagon Fuel sender question.

The 57 gauge is a six volt gauge. They used a voltage drop to get to 6 volts. The voltage drops are readily available.

Re: 12 Volt battery to fit '40

My local Wal-Mart has a big display of batteries. Take your measurements and a ruler and check out their display (if you got a Wal-Mart near you).

If you prefer to buy at a parts store,...

Re: '41 Woodie headlamp bucket to fender question

CASCO, the Tbird parts supplier, has spring clips for the headlight buckets. While for a 55-57 TBird, they may be the same as a 41.
