Not A, But Interesting
Forging Bugatti front axles, appears to be from 1991 or so. I wonders how they made them hollow, but they drilled the forging before bending.

I would add to that to try it as stock as possible and don't delay enjoying it by adding improvements like hydraulic brakes, pressure oiling, downdraft carb, etc.

I tapped a 1/8"npt hole in the plug in the torque tube and used a pair of brass street elbows to hold the vent vertical. I tried it with a tube, but it was going to be more work to keep the vent...
