As for your question about 2 rear doors vs a single rear door...the general rule is 2 doors makes it a panel (truck). 1 door is a sedan delivery (car). I'm not sure this applies to Model A Fords....

I can't be sure. I have had the car since 1966. The previous owner bought it in 1953 from the original owner. I have not found anything on it that was an obvious change.
The front and rear springs...

The Ford Price List of Parts says 8 leaf front spring is for '26/'27, 7 leaf for earlier. My '26 Runabout has 7 leaves and I'm pretty sure it has not been changed.

If I remember right, There was a letter for truck use, one for regular car use and one for speedster use. Mine is the regular car head.
I am waiting for some info from Stipe cams.
