I assume you mean the rubbing block on the points arm. Are you lubricating the distributor cam as specified?

It seems to me that putting in load resistors defeats the purpose of putting in LEDs to reduce the load.

NOT a good idea, as the bearing race should be a slip fit so it can rotate.

I hope to figure out why the rear main leaks so much, I set the clearance at .0015",end play is about .020", There is a gasket between the block and the flywheel housing.
It never leaked much until...
