I am working with the following goods:
- Aftermarket Fuel Tank
- Aftermarket Sending Unit (from ISSPRO)
- Feeds a 1930 Essex Fuel Gauge

My Sending Unit has:

1932 Gas Tank Sending Unit

I have a reproduction gas tank.
It has a reproduction sending unit for my 12 volt set up.
The gauge reading used to be accurate, though is not anymore.

I just pulled the tank & the sending unit...

Stock flathead fuel pump was replaced some 10 years ago. I stupidly let the car sit for the last 7 years. The fuel pump is now not pumping. I suspect the diaphragm is dried up. Are these...

Since I have NO fenders....I guess the Gas Tank Apron Channel Seal Kit wouldn't apply to my car....now that I look at it all.

I hath remove the end cap & tube.
Is the tube supposed to appear like the Leaning Tower of Pisa?
Could this be contributing to my leak?
It slid out of the steering box smoothly.
It had a gasket...

When using the John Deer Corn Head Grease....Do I use 100% of that in the steering box OR a percentage of that AND a percentage of some other grease?

Oh, now that I see the picture, it makes sense. Is it a simple removal of the 2 bolts and then you wiggle out the plate with tube? Will anything else come falling out; ha!???

I do not have the later plate.
Nor do I have the headlight switch parts on the end of mine.

So the fix is to obtain a 1933 & up plate? It bolts on the same?
It has a tube on its inside portion...

Have a stock '32 box....was rebuilt many moons ago.
It leaks off the very front end (open) cap area.
I would like to remove it, clean it, reseal it up.
Looks like the rebuilder used some orange...

I am aware that the 1932 Trunk cars did not come with a rubber mat.
But the bare metal deal, isn't working for me.

Does anyone have good ideas that feel period correct for a trunk mat?

I've not seen any stock style rubber mats for sale anywhere.
Anyone have an idea / source for a period correct trunk mat that would work?

Left over from my car build. Came with the Brookville Body project I bought. Couple tweaks needed to a couple of slightly bent sections; wouldn't affect its use.

Ya know that rare, but sometimes, crazy front end wobble the car may get?
The only way to make it go away, I have found, is to stop & start again.
It is only happened to me a couple 2 -3 times...

The inner door knob (that be pushed down or pulled up) has a rod that attached to the mechanism inside the door.

Anyone have a description or picture on how to attach the bent rod?

Yea....I know of glass setting tape. I just wondered if it was something different; as what i pulled out of the channel was a pre-formed u-shaped strip of old fuzzy material.
