pictures? trans/cross member would be helpful. just finished a 49 F1-rust in cab corners/floor and in front and rear fenders-a lot of rust repair or buy new fenders

GL 1 available from tractor supply for use in Ford tractors--straight mineral oil, GL 3/4/5 from experience will melt away your syncro's

what carb do you have on your 36? Stromberg or Ford 94 type? I use and recommend auto lite 216. power valve can be leaking in a 94 and cause this problem

sure sounds like a stuck starter bendix, you might have touched the start button when the engine was still turning over and the results can be a stuck starter--I know I did just that. had to loosen...

not familiar with the requirements to attach an automatic to a flathead, not sure if it will be a merc-o-matic or a c4 any help would be appreciated

my 40 wagon 6 volt pos ground has a insulated cigar lighter attached below the dash and the polarity is correct to charge a phone, also have used it for a gps.
