1941 headlight buckets

one has a couple of rust spots, about the size of a quarter. Solid other than that. Both need the grommet for the wiring entry.

I did all of the recommended actions, but the most noticeable result was to use the Old Henry method of flushing the block. Amazing amount of cr*p came ot.

Optima battery

6 volt, + ground.
I notice that Optima offers their own brand of charger.
Is it correct to infer that a wet cell battery charger may harm an Optima unit?

is the inside diameter on the cap, main & idle jets all supposed the same?
The 'A' sat for a long time; I inserted a paper clip thru them to clean & have been experience backfire after running...

The 1941 year has a grille shape that is unique to that year. The catalogues have a deflector for the 46-48" but not 41's.

does anyone have a drawing of a template, or picture, they can post of an air deflector that will force all incoming air into the radiator of a 1941 sedan?

6 volt, pos. ground system. The battery will totally discharge overnight unless I pull one of the cables. New Optima battery. Mostly original wiring [ 1941] and I cannot find a bare wire that is...
