Re: Running Board Aprons
Look a lot like 31 Ford Model A aprons. Don't know fire sure though. Sorry.

Re: Aiming head lightes
Mike (1930artdeco) is right. Loan the bolts holding the headlight buckets to the bar and tilt them down to get the desired position.

Re: Tubes
Why are you all getting so hung up on where things are made?
Germany has some of the most stringent standards in the world with the TÜV. I don't think the problem lies with where these tubes were...

Re: changing parts
Hey Marc, I don't think this was aimed specifically at new Model A owners. More a general comment that a lot of people just randomly replace parts not really knowing why they're replacing them,...

Re: 1930 Tudor.....Nuts & bolts
Thanks if you don't mind. I won't be able to go near my car until Saturday now and it would be nice to grab the fasteners tomorrow. No worries if you can't👍

Re: 1930 Tudor.....Nuts & bolts
That's great Carl thanks. I'll get one on order. In the meantime do you know what size fasteners I bed for the rear fenders on a 30 sedan?

1930 Tudor.....Nuts & bolts
Hi there,
My Model A Tudor is in bits and I'm trying to put it back together. Does anyone know what size nuts and bolts I need to mount the rear fenders.
Thanks

Re: 1930 Sedan Wood body mounting blocks
Thanks Karl. Are you sure the long block goes at the back of the front seats and not at the front of the front seats where they fix in?

Re: Hotrod Regrets
I have to say, everything you're talking about doing is 100% reversible and probably within a day. There's not really anything to regret. If you don't like it change it back. It's not like you're...

Re: Pannard Bars?
The stock Model A chassis doesn't use pannard or panhard bars as the front suspension users the wishbone, transverse spring and shocks to control forward, upward and lateral suspension travel. At the...

Re: Hotrod Regrets
When I bought my Model A it was with the intentions of hot rodding it. Once I got it home I started to change my mind. It was so cool as it was. Maybe just restore it instead.
It was easy for me in...

Re: Coast to coast
Sounds like it'll be fun. However it turns out. I'm surprised they're aren't more guys out there wishing you luck and offering to "shake your hand" on your journey.
I would, but I live in the UK....
