Re: Truck Tool Box/Trunk - source

My wife and I have bought numerous trunks from garage/yard/flea market sales. Some for as little as $2. One would probably need to be protected from the weather if you use your truck a lot......Mark

“Think I will go find the ragged ol' truck song!”
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2WJYX5nlTSc. There’s a commercial at the beginning. It hasn’t got a lot to do with old trucks but I like the...

Re: 1951 bellhousing question

Shoebox…. I’m in the process of “ resuscitating” a ‘51 Tudor Deluxe myself. If it has a running 6cyl. in it now, I’m sure that engine will be valuable. Mine had no motor in it when I got it but...

Re: Which application for BW Pcv382?

A lot of people use one from a Jeep 4.0. I donít have a part number. It sure sounds like Glenn is talking from experience, PCV valves arenít expensive. Maybe try bothÖÖ. Mark

Re: Headers for '49 custom

The Speedway sets are easy to dent and hammer them to fit. I got a right from Shoebox-Central and a left from Bob Drake to have cast iron duals. Fit is good without any issues on a ‘51...Mark

Re: 1932 The Deuce, Dually, Dump Truck

Chris, I like the arrow turn signal lights front and rear on your truck. I got one off a ‘36 dump truck I pulled out of the woods about ten years ago. It’s not in very good shape so it just sits on a...

Re: Lube for throwout bearing?

Are we talking two different things here? The OP asked about lubing the I-D of the bearing where it rides on the trans snout…..not the inside of the spinning throw-out bearing…. I’ll confess to...

Re: Lube for throwout bearing?

My experience with Neverseize is, if it’s left to the air it gets hard and clumpy. Maybe mixing with grease helps that. Any lube in that area is going to collect dirt and clutch dust and make the...
