Re: Jackson MI swap meet

I haven’t seen any cars or trucks or any outside vendors in the last few years. You have a better chance of seeing cars or trucks at the Kalamazoo swap meet in early February, especially if the...

Re: Jackson MI swap meet

Well that's a great question.

In years past it was run by the VMCCA and was on Sunday. The local Early V8 club region had a table there. Hardly any flathead parts but a few tables of Model T...

Re: Merc OD

The rail switch is either open or closed so ideally the OHM reading is 0.

Putting a toggle switch in place of the rail switch will only force the OD to work IF the rail switch is the only problem....

Re: Merc OD

If you have continuity between the 2 terminals closest to the floor then you don't need to bypass the switch. The switch is normally closed and interrupts the ground to the relay when you go full...

Re: Merc OD

The points are in the cap that was removed from the governor body you are holding. When you spin up the shaft in the body in your hand the center shaft moves towards the cap and closes the points to...

Re: '51 Tudor Idler Install Issue

Just a guess but the suppliers show the same part for 49-51. Try using the 49-early 50 adjustment instead of the 51. I installed my idler arm from Shoebox Central in my 49 using the 49 method...
