After removing all the fastners should the firewall seperate from the body and cowl? [this is in a 1934 pickup.]

I had a 34 p.u. in the 60's it had an 11" behind a sbc and in front of 39 zepher tranny.

Worked fine, just rev it and it would shove your foot up and go.

I have an old Century double plank mahogany boat.

It hs an Grey Marine engine with Borg warner Velvet drive.

Needs to be repowered, I think it is an AMC 327 engine with different carbs...

My Dad was a Highway Patrol 1942-46, i have photo's somewhere.

I think they had 1942 Fords and some ch--y's also Harleys and Indians.

At this time they were lucky to even be able to have a...

I think it was the sound of the old Ford Flathead exaust and the way they would start almost before you could get your finger off the starter button.

The 1938 Ford cpe starts the same way all...

If I wanted to build a late engine using 4" Merc crank, would you recomend the pop-up piston?

If so [for street use] what pistons and rods would you recomend?

I was thinking Ron said use regular 3 3/4 stroke pistons with a 4" crank for the pop-up setup, that still leaves the cost of special heads?
Guess I won't be building one unless could find some heads...

Fuel tank

My fuel tank is leaking on the 38 cpe.

Who is best vendor for a fuel tank, and would coated steel or plactic be the better choice?

Also it looks like the tank mounts over the frame on both...

My 56 Tbird runs way to the right of normal, but does not boil or overflow.

It has a shroud, but only has 3 blade fan.

Would a 4 blade help?
