I got a halfton bought some used fenders and my hood /fenders dont fit together as well as i would expect

The only conclusion i can gather is my fenders are 3/4 ton and my hood is 1/2...

More questions about your getting it running. Did u use the original gas tank.or a satelite gas can? Did u cleanout the gas tank if u are using it? Did u rebuild the carb new gaskets etc. new fuel...
