Thanks for the post. I just sold my Leatherback to make mortgage payments so I'm out of the running on this purchase, but a guy can always dream. And buy lottery tickets.

After you fill the radiator, start the engine and look for bubbles in the radiator. If you do, you need to re-torque you head, which you should do anyway with a fresh rebuild. A loose head will also...

The fuel leak was the reason for replacing the shut off valve. It wasn't leaking at the nut but after seeing the crack I didn't trust it any more. It would have been easier to order a new fuel line...

Try filing your points and resetting the gap. The same thing just happened to me and that's all it took to fix it.
