Re: Storing restored model A without a garage or carport

Yes, a buddy put a gravel bottom carport on the side of his barn in west NY for his motor home and it was always damp under it, rotted the floor out. East Texas as I recall not very dry. Need a floor...

Scared of the single point of attachment, used 2 cheaply stands to make one with exhaust mounts. Works but plan on a more refined version in the near future

Re: Engine Stand Adapter

I wasn’t comfortable until I held it from both sides. I like the stability, going to make at least 1 more maybe a little more refined

Re: New member, new owner, 1941 pickup with driveability issues

Had a couple of old 4 speeds, heavy, straight cut gears, stinks. I didn’t use the clutch with big trucks after launch, double clutch a hassle. I couldn’t use the old trans without. Need a 3 speed,...

Re: Correct hubcaps for 1939 standard

Re: Craftsman torque wrench, great deal at Lowe's

Ah, mine went with a box of crap tools at the flea market. Cost around $100 about 25 years ago, ratchet stripped after a few uses would not replace or provide a kit. Junk so went back to the antique...

Re: Split wishbones
