What are the differences in the front ends of the '39 Deluxe and '39 Standard frames?
Are there different brackets? Does each frame have its own set of holes only or do both frames have both sets...

The most obvious difference is where the sides of the hood meets the cowl. The passenger car cowl and the pickup cowl is totally different.

My 1940 and 1941 Ford of Canada truck and commercial cars sales brochures show that the one-piece drum and hub was standard issue for those two years. The photos are from the 1941 brochure.

I'm assuming you're refering to a Canadian-built Mercury. Beginning in 1941 the Mercury used cast iron heads with part numbers C81A 6049A and C81A 6050A. Joe.
