All parts where bought through reputable dealers, I'll use all the hardware from the original style stems, it all fit thanks for your help

Yes they have metal stems but are not close to original style. But I bought the original style stems that they said I could swap in the tube.

Guy at Mike's said there is only 1 guy that makes these covers and he is just now getting going again after Rona, he's a one man band so it could be a while before he gets caught up.

Hammer yeah i agree i looked at it close tonight and i dont want to really want to get into replacing the cross member........i will stop drill it and weld it up and grind it smooth.......

Lol sorry for my newness to the Model A engine... any Chev V8 i have rebuilt had two bolts to hold the cam gear on....but the Model A has those two tits, nubs and a nut or what ever they are called...
