I had a 1941, and it had a friction shock that was adjustable for smoother or stiffer ride. My next one was a 1947 and had the shock like in the picture. Both the 41 and the 47 had chrome handle...

I had a Dodge Chassis Motor Home that was running so hot on the right side that the exhaust manifold would be a cherry red after about two hours of hwy running. I checked everything I could think of....

I don't remember for sure, but I think they told me they got their's from Carpenter or Drake, anyway they did not make the one they sold. I think I purchased the Vintique from Joe's Auto Parts.

Found this on eBay. What does Spartan have to do with Auto-lite? If you will look at the
pic's, these have the auto-lite label, also Spartan dome covers. Also look much like 1932 Oldsmobile Horns....
