It is backfiring through the carb. I have had the dome distributor that is on it fully rebuilt and timing set correctly as well as the coil rebuilt before starting it. Also it does have the Holley 94...

Finally got time to check my float height but I’m a little confused on where it needs to be set though. Other posts say 1 11/32 but after a watching a Charles price video on Holley 94 he says 1 5/16....

Put MMO in the gas tank and the carb and let it run and I could here a miss in the exhaust let it run and feed MMO to it in intervals and the miss started to clear up some. Sounds better today than...

My mistake the fuel pump seems to be working when I took it off but fuel is not getting to it not sure why. A temporary fuel take idea would still be nice!

Would it might have a higher chance of starting if I feed it gas with the throttle open then shut the throttle and try starting it?
