If you are pulling out the original tank to clean it and install a non original fuel sender why not buy a new tank that would be set up for the later sender? I seriously doubt that a modern sender...

See BobC's post. No need for GVW when 36 and older. Your DMV person should know that as in the vehicle code. Although I should not make assumptions on what Cal DMV knows or should know.

With the leaf springs you may have to move the axle pads. With coil overs I have found that they are difficult to find the correct spring rates to make the car ride correctly whether it is loaded...

Use a parallel leaf spring kit from Chassis Engineering, TCI, or Speedway. I would not use anything with coil over shocks. The leaf spring kits are a "bolt-in"
kit and easy to install.

I have Grundy, but have friends who have Hagerty. Comparing notes when it comes to having a claim both companies respond very well and take care of the policy holder. I think you will find as I did...

You can get a roll of black closed cell foam seal at your local hardware store to seal the top if you think you need it.

The HiCountry regional group has hosted some fantastic meets in the past and I made most of them, Too bad Covid spoiled the 2020 meet. You belong to a great group and nice roadster too.
