Do you have the manufacturer and model number of the 6 volt regulator? Did you use it on a Model A?

Utopia Texas makes a good point about radiator fins. If the fins are not tight the radiator will not cool.

Putting the thermostat close to the bottom of the radiator hose helps. Hold it in place with another hose clamp so it doesn't work its way to the top.

Thanks for the reply. When you say keep the same polarity, does that mean north pole to north pole and south to south? I thought it would be opposite that.

My Speedometer magnet is dead. How do I recharge it? The speedometer is the oval shaped SW speedometer. It is disassembled. I may have caused the problem by getting the magnet to close to some...

I had my radiator re-cored with excellent results by a shop in Salt Lake City for much less cost than buying a new one.

I am considering a HI Boy air cleaner for my 28 Coupe. I like the paper filter above the carburetor eliminating the fire hazard. However, It looks to me like there could be interference problems...

I just bought the $34 valve from Bert's. It fits just right and no leaks. The fitting that goes into the tank is a pipe thread.

Loose fitting fins on the radiator tubes will impair the radiator's cooling ability. Check to see if that might be your problem.
