I just received mine from Mike's today and it snapped right onto the distributor body. I measured it against my regular cap and the diameters were off by less than .01". The clear disc is not...

I too am interested in whether they can get someone to pay $850 for a replica of an accessory that didn't do anything.

Nu-Rex supplies a cutaway cap with their timing kit and recommends using a timing light strobe to observe the rotor action:


I have one but I haven't had time to set it up yet to see how useful...
