Am I correct that in order to install new windlace in my '29 business coupe I will need to drill the rivets out on the track on the door pillar? It looks like the windlace installs in the channel...

that tool starts at 1/14" o.d. which is much too large. Model A axle is 5/8" But thanks for trying!

The aspect ratio of the tire should be taken into account along with rim diameter as both will affect your final gearing. A taller sidewall vs. a shorter sidewall will make a difference.

If you have oil on the clutch disc and flywheel there's a cheater fix to temporarily reduce or stop the chatter. Take the floor boards out and remover the inspection cover on the clutch housing....
