You could always go to the old molasses bath method. I have some parts soaking in some molasses now. Stuff comes out and you wash it and its gray just like new cast iron.

As one of the many recipients of your work Charlie I can also attest to the near perfect job you did on my 94. All I did was bolt it on and it fired right up, never needing to touch any adjustments...
