Mikko, Check out Ebay !They have an original 1935 tudor flat back you might be able to purchase for less than 10 grand. Looks to be a good car.

Any one have any insight on installing one of these kits on a 33 Ford ? The instructions leave something to be desired , so to speak ?

Mechanical brakes not a bad way to go.Youll likely have to put new spindles on chassis.Suggest get model A parts catalogue.

I prefer the 33Tudor They are a little more stream lined and I like the grill better.They are almost identical to 34s but enough different that its not that hard to know it is a 33.They are well...

Butch, Just mounted the tube shock kit Ralph mentioned above. The kit is easy to work with, at least foe me. The challenge was removing old shackle studs from spring and perches. Best of success.

PG, Best of luck finding one, they are out there. Be sure the stud hold on spare tire rim will match up with the bolt on the tire carrier.They can vary.

Thanks for good input. I ended up removing shackles by hooking end of spring to a hoist and backed that up with a hydraulic jack underneath. I was able to flex spring enough to get at shackle studs....

Turn Signal Kit ?

Have a 33 Ford 6 volt in need of turn signals. Would like to put in a new kit. Any recommendations ? What about putting in a 12 volt kit ? Much appreciated !!:(

I have a used 6 volt basic turn signal set up for an old car/ truck that mounts on the steering column.I want to mount into a 35 pickup Might anyone have a wiring diagram ?

Hydraulic Brake set up

Drums, backing plates, spindles for conversion to hydraulic brakes. Believe it is 1939 Ford Vintage. Came off a 33 Ford. Good condition.

If you haven't done it ,consider taking your cylinders apart and use steel wool on pistons to clean up. And yes use silicone brake fluid. In colder climes like Minnesota its a problem.

Suggestion: When grounding an old Ford consider fastening ground straps together and have them contact motor/ Frame in more than one area.
