Well I checked the gap and it is .060. It did run with the old inner terminal cap. Points are fair shape . Not new. Change rotor and points or a rebuild? Suggestions happily accepted!

That should be 32 to early 36 distributor.

Looking at my 1935 distributor. Have new inner terminal cap. What should gap between electrode to rotor be? How hard is it to change rotor? Or is a rebuilt best option? Thanks for info.

Howdy. Yes there is a center bearing also with a zerk. That pretty well answers my question. I am a farmer and I inherited this truck from my father. It was not started for 35 years I got it running...

Ok. It seems to me that there is quite a distance from zerk to universal joint in that clam shell. Is corn head grease lighter than a regular grease? Or do you have to pump in a lot? Thank you...
