Re: 1953 F 100 brakes

I get most all of my F100 parts at the auto parts store save for the backing plates and hubs. I have even used the later F100 self adjusting kit on the early F100s. Just need to trim out the square...

Re: carlisle report??

Hey, Frank Long Island - I was an old LI boy myself.

Robz51 - Carlisle in the Fall is only good as a vendor on Thurs-Friday. Hershey is the big event imho and we vend there Tues-Fri and sometimes...

Re: carlisle report??

It was great to get out, Ronn and although I forget t my mask 2-3 times, I wore it and kept my distance- it was a leap of faith for me to be there and I was waaaay out of my comfort zone. But, you...

Re: carlisle report??

I was there from early early on Tuesday through Sat with two other friends and we all had old stuff. The crowds were light on Tues-Wed but they were buying. Throughout the week it was evident the...

Re: Pic from Carlisle

Fall Carlisle has been somewhat of a haven for the Hershey crowd who are shut out this year. There are probably only 12 vendors with all old stuff and my two buddies and are are three of them. Nice...

Re: Painted My First Car (well, parts of one!)

Unfortunately there were several spots that when the tape was removed it took off the paint underneath - probably 6-7 places. If my paint is mixed with no flattener, it matches the interior as that...

Re: Painted My First Car (well, parts of one!)

Re: Painted My First Car (well, parts of one!)

I got some more painting done - just some pics as a way of an update. Paint came out nice, same as the rest of the truck, but once I took the tape away some of the old paint peeled off with it in...

Re: Painted My First Car (well, parts of one!)

Thanks, Tony!

JSeary - thanks for making my pics so us old folks won’t need a neck brace! Lol! So is there a trick to doing that? If I rotate them for Fordbarn, they are crooked for everything...
