My Father and some other Marines bought a Model A for $40 to use on liberty in about 1943 in California. When it was time to continue their tour of the Pacific, they parked it on the beach and left!...

I saw a T or two, and a Dodge of that vintage. At this time, T's were essentially valueless and so a reasonable choice for those with nearly no money...I've heard from vintage people I have known...

Model A's? There are a LOT. You aren't noticing them because the focal point is a fairly small clump of cars traveling in the same direction as the camera car.
