It's my understanding that a lot of the major retailers are not handling Optima batteries anymore since they are now made in Mexico and not of the same quality!

Check with Bluardun on this blog........Bill Herbert is an extremely knowledgeable Ardun person and runs a set of these heads on his '32 roadster!

I used Roy Nacewiciz's paint on my fan belt and the color is a little reddish brown , would have preferred a little lighter and browner..... however , looks great!

I was at the meet and enjoyed that cute Vicky........the car did have some major modifications , however , judging standards vary from meet to meet and judge to judge! One should not get too worked...

Had the same problem.....put a spacer between carb and manifold , has worked well ever since. Believe it has to do with ethanol in gas these days! Think that Bob Drake had spacers for flatheads.

FYI..........with the discussion about diaphragms , one should remember that the "new" gas with ethanol eats them up.......one might think about replacing it with a diaphragm made with...
