Re: Brake lights will not turn off 1935 Ford

Check your parking brake. Sometimes if I pull my parking brake too hard my brake light comes on.

Re: Vintage Grease Gun

I agree Fibber, that's half the fun working on and maintaining cars with what they used back in the day. I'm the same way. I love it!

Re: Last call for another salvage yard

It's sad, younger generations won't have a chance to look for parts how we did.
That link has some great pictures.

Re: Hello

Welcome . Can't wait to see your car.
I would keep the original gas tank. You said it runs so you should be ok.
I use 10/30.

Re: 39 Tudo rear window removal

Cut the rubber starting at the glass out to the frame from outside the car.
That's how I do it.

Re: 1935 Cabriolet Problem--Poor Brakes

I have woven on my car and it stops great.
My vote is to change to woven linings.

Re: tire irons

I am a professional tire guy and I use soap. The whole tire industry uses some form of soap. Good luck. Work a curved spoon bar carefully and you won't mess up your rim.

Re: tire irons

I think the curved spoon type is best for tube tires.

Re: Gas Pedal Assembly

Have some safety glasses on. You need to be stronger than the spring.
