It's lot 1340 but don't know what time it comes up. I think it will break 50k. It would look good beside my Manderin Maroon '40, but alas, only dreaming.

Back to the problem: rich mixtures above idle, as in cruise, or acceleration, will cause over rich and low idle speed when plates return to idle. Power valve leak, high float level, will contribute....

This plate is from my '40 deluxe coupe, last done in 52 it would appear. Indicates being rebuilt in the factory in Winsor.

Did any tool maker build a brake drum lathe for the rear integral hub/drum of early (40) Fords. All the lathe arbors seem to be too big for the 3/4 inch hole in the hub. Could not find one in KRW...

Ebay has a F 2993 for sale, the book I looked at calls up a V126 for a 40 v8
Will the F2993 work on 3 bolt distributors. Picture on Ebay looks like its for 2 Bolt. Anyone have some wisdom on this?
