Vicky windshield frame question

I just bought a stack of parts out of a garage, basically it was the whole car minus a body. A 1931 Vicky ( Apparently the guy was having the body painted, and the shop that was doing the work burnt...

Thanks all; I got it running good today ....I found out the fuel shut off had a small amount of debris in it....once I cleaned it; it ran perfect!

Ok the GAV was gummed up; And I got it free; it was almost all the way lean

Ok; timing and ignition is ruled out. I checked it from one end to the other; new points and condenser ....but it still surged. So I did what someone suggested and pulled the choke out alittle ;...
