6 volt coil wiring

I have 41 ford with helmet style distributor, external coil conversion. This is positive ground so which wire goes to the coil is it negative from switch and positive to the distributor?

Hello how can I tell if the car has been converted to 12v or not? I got a 41 Ford with little information about it and no battery in it. Also if it is still 6v, is it a positive ground system? Thanks

Jseery , that's a good idea, I do have a set of F1 brakes. I believe those are bendix style.

Took the plastic off my newly rebuilt motor and found the crank pulley is strangely out of place. Is this to far out, and what could cause this? By the way this is the truck version of the crank...
