I can remove my key locked or unlocked on my Drake handle. it may not be correct but sure is handy.

napa (napaonline.com) lists a 12v 3 term insulated base solenoid Echlin # st56

I agree. get antifreeze out. years ago I was given a '54 Ford that smoked (white) badly I parked it with the intent of locating the source the next day. when I went to start it up all the lifters...

Eaton 2 speeds are spring loaded to low and air/vacuum to high. the sliding clutch is torque locked into the high speed clutch plate in high range. the sliding clutch teeth may just be worn out...
