I’ve never done this conversion, but I have a 35 3W with a trunk. You will definitely need hinges and the driver side trunk prop.

I’ve come close to hitting them a few times in the last 25 years up here. They will destroy a car/pickup if hit squarely.

Never used one of those, although it does look easier than the cork. But I’ve never had a problem with cork and a little rtv to join the pieces.

Iíve got a nice 8BA block that was given to me, only the previous owner was beating out pistons and knocked a baseball sized hole in one of the cylinders! :(

I’m confused, Is antifreeze coming out of the exhaust bolt holes? Or out of the cylinder head bolts?
If exhaust, then you’ve got a crack or rust through, if cyl head, it could be just a gasket or?...

There are afyermarket ďairplaneĒ Shock mounts that came out in the 40s and 50s to replace the old Houdaille shocks. They bolt in the same spot.
They are still available places like eBay and here on...

I almost forgot about the transmission, itís been a week. I just drained it out started to clean it but itís still pretty stuck so back in the solution it goes. I have hopes of getting this one free...

When I worked at a radiator shop in the 70’s, we would use Muratic acid to clean the inside of the radiators before I painted them. It got them shiny as new on the inside, If any got on the outside...

I just had a stuck transmission given to me. Open drive, 40ís ish, I havenít uncovered the serial number yet.
I had a gallon and a half of evaporust laying around, used, so thought Iíd experiment....

Sounds like an adhesive is your only real choice. They make modern body panel adhesives that will not come apart.
The only other way would be to heat spots around the rim and apply cold water to...

The breakdowns don’t even show a shaft for the wiper. Does the nut on the shaft...

I’ve been doing this fo awhile and my pictures are still hit and miss.
I can take four pictures of the same subject, three of them will not post and one will. Must be Internet magic...
