I had a 48 Merc back in 57 or 58, Those Cluster gears were a little fraggle so I had to replace my Trans a few times. If I remember right I took it out from the bottom and put it back the same way....

My 46 Super Deluxe Coupe does not have one. My 46 does have a spare tire well that had a factory cover welded over it and never used a a spare tire well. I assume a different body style used it.

I THINK it is a 38 or 39. I have one of them but just one. I also have some 36 hub caps, removed them from a customers car and installed new ones on his car.

Here in the Chatt TN area we have non ethanol gas at some stations, not all but some. I always use it in my small engine mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, etc. I mow over an acre about every 5 days...

7-7-40 and my A is a 1930. bought it in 1957 also have a 1946 Super Deluxe Coupe Sedan going under a full restoration at the moment.

yes you should always fill up gas tanks on the ground no matter plastic or metal. and always keep the nozzle in contact with the container. I wish I had a dollar for every gal of fuel I have put on...
