Has anyone had any trouble using these lately? I have in the past but the ones i just got apart from being 1/4 inch too long( no biggie) the threaded part bottoms out in the block way before...

Check for excessive wear between shaft and top bushing. The spring attached to oilpan is a early feature. BTW I dont bother to rebuild early pumps. I favor the later type pump its beefier and new...

I use a small machinist square to scribe an alignment mark down the inside It works pretty good. Same with cam bearing alignment but with a sharpie of course

Why do you thing the 185g springs wont work? Have you assembled your valves with a mock up spring to measure the installed height? Shoot for 50-60 lbs on the seat for good heat transfer and positive...

Its a big electro magnet pwrd by a 12v battery to re charge permanent magnets found in motors or magnetos
