I had a wooden ladder break, when stepping on the 3rd rung it broke. With a bundle of composition shingles on my shoulder I went down through the first 2 rungs. I was fortunate, no injuries.

I couldn't get it started with the pedal attached to the floor. I attached the rod and pedal together then screwed it to the floor. The screw will start when all is together but it's a slow process...
