It looked like the second picture you posted was the vinyl material. so if thats the foam, it also goes all the way out to where the gutters atach?

geting ready to replase the roof on my 30 tudor and i'm not sure if the foam padding should stop at the opening of the roof where the side rails for the bows or go all the way to where the vinyl ends...

Steve, thanks for the pictures. The fender supports on my 26 use only one bolt and its aligned dead center with the radiator mount stud. doesn't seem right but looks factory.

If you havn't already done so i would have the head surfaced at a machine shop, it's pretty cheap insurance.

Quick update, just got back home from snyders with my motor, as it turns out the motor was in even worse shape than i thought, they found that the crank was bent, the piston pins to long, new tappets...

Jack, i tried moving the crank back and forth with a pry bar but there is no give. however you can insert a feeler guage about 1/2 way around between the crank and thrust bearing, it's just dead nuts...
